My story

From planning high school birthday surprises to planning my best friends 18^th, 21^st birthdays I soon grew to planning my friend’s engagement parties to weddings. After years of hospitality experience I enrolled into a Bachelor of Convention and Events Management, where I also engaged in work experience to gain knowledge in the wedding industry. In 2008, while still at university, I started coordinating weddings on the Gold Coast. Not long after completing my degree I decided this is my LIFE, MY PASSION, MY LOVE & WHO I WANT TO BE!

I continued contributing to the industry and people’s special celebrations as a registered marriage celebrant as that was where my heart was. I have 10 years’ experience as a registered marriage celebrant and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and being a part of hundreds of couples’ special days. Over the years I have prided myself in ensuring each & every one of my clients has the most memorable day.

After years of experience in weddings, hearing and seeing some of my couples struggles through the wedding planning process, I wanted to find a way I could help further.. ‘Share The Love Wedding Coach’ services opens the door for me to help engaged couples enjoy the journey as much as the destination, being their special day.[/ultimate_heading]

What is my legal obligation as a celebrant?

Civil marriages can only be conducted by persons registered as civil marriage celebrants by the Australian Attorney-General’s Department. And they must conduct marriages according to the Marriage Act 1961.

Marriage Celebrants are governed by a strict Code of Practice. This code is set down in the Marriage Regulations 1963. The major role of Civil Marriage Celebrants is to make sure that you are legally married.

How long does a wedding ceremony go for?

This is your day. How long or how short you would like your wedding ceremony is up to you. We go over the scripting and legalities in your ceremony to determine your length. Most commonly ceremonies are around 30-40 minutes.
