Christopher and Amie Massey – Summergrove Estate Wedding

Near or far, my goal is to get to know you both and create a ceremony true to your personality.

Chris and Amie live in Tamworth and although we never met in person till the rehearsal, through facetime we created a bond and got on like true friends.

On the 31st March 2021, I had the pleasure of marrying Christopher and Amie. These two soul mates chose to have an intimate wedding with their closest friend and family at Summergrove Estate Wedding venue part of the Tweed Coast Weddings region.

I was lucky enough to get to know both of them over several months and get to learn about their love story.

From the first time Amie laid eyes on Chris you could say she had a huge crush. Although Chris knew Amie was keen on him when he asked her out of their first date she nearly didn’t show. Lucky she did as on their first date Chris fell for Amie’s bright, bubbly, kind and nervous personality. It was not long later that Chris asked Amie to be his girlfriend when laying down starring at the stars on the back of his ute.

Amie jumped at the opportunity, she had fallen for Chris’s infectious carefree personality and his smile that lights up her eyes every time he looks at her. Not to mention his goofy nature that she gets to witness behind closed doors. The look of love for her that she witnesses across a crowded room takes her breathe away.

Much the same, Chris fell for Amie’s infectious kind caring personality always putting others happiness before her own. Amie has the ability to change the way someone feels through herr smile, that lights up a room. She makes Chris laugh with how she will randomly dance around the room when she thinks no one is watching. Life feels a million times easier with Amie by Chris’s side. He couldn’t imagine his life without her and her goofy nature.

In the time you both lived overseas for 15 months together, in countries that spoke no English, you established a foundation like no other, through tears, laughter and memories created together. You are the perfect yin to each others yang.

How lucky were we to be married by the beautiful Jessica! She made the entire process easy and enjoyable and created a ceremony that reflected us. We wanted simple and fun and although we didn’t officially meet until the day before she captured us perfectly, getting to know the little things!
