Jag and Sally Shackleton – Cowbell Creek Wedding
On Friday 10th July 2020, Jag and Sally chose to formalise their love for one another at the picturesque Cowbell Creek wedding venue. On this day we celebrated the small things that are the big things to both of them. They knew no matter what that Saturday 10th July 2020 was their day and nothing was going to stop them celebrate the great love they share. Jag and Sally are each others best friends, the one they laugh with and know they can not imagine their lives without each other.
How did this love story start?
After Jag not being back on the coast for long, he headed out for some drinks for a friends birthday. At the best of times Jag can be fairly socially awkward but on this night after a few beers he had a little chat with most but not Sally. Even though there was plenty of fleeting looks exchanged between them, they never spoke; too intrigued with the 50cent hot wings that night.
A couple of photos from the night emerged online and Sally definitely caught Jag’s eye in her red dress. He decide to give the photo a little tactical like and bingo he received a message from his now bride to be.
From the moment Jag and Sally started spending time together, they quite quickly both knew it was ‘love’. It had been weeks and they were always together, they literally couldn’t get enough of each other and everything just felt super natural. So it wasn’t a surprise when the word ‘Love’ came up. Jag and Sally had just spent a weekend together, adventuring through the mountains, drinking delicious wine and sharing fun loving chat. Sally was going on about a meme on single life which she had been tagged in, when Jag abruptly stopped her and said “well you’re not single anymore, because you want to shack up with me”. Sally reflected to me she remembered playing dumb and saying, “really do I? Why do I want to do that?” in which Jag stumbled over the words “well we love each other. ” Sally knew she did and replied I love you too.
Sally fell in love with Jag’s personality, he is one of a kind to her. Jag is humble, kind, loyal and caring and the best dad to their little boy Tanna. Sally loves Jag’s wicked sense of humour; his dance moves which are terrible but he always stands proud of. Not to mention Jag’s lame dad jokes that he always heartily laughs at himself when he is telling them; poor Tanna. Jag somehow finds the most obscure things funny, which is ridiculously funny to Sally. Most importantly doing life with Jag is so blissful, exciting and easy.
Jag fell in love with Sally’s bubbly, friendly, professional, loving personality. She can bring the fire if things annoy her (usually because of him), like when he drives like a moron or if the washing is left out when it rains. Coming home to Sally and Tanna when he has had a tough day makes Sally happy and feel complete. Family is so important and together you don’t take life too seriously and make each other laugh constantly.
Whether it be no matter how many times Sally says ‘Thongs” Jag auto corrects her with Jandles, which we know she secretly hates. Or no matter what Jag does or how many times he is told, he always somehow has saw dust in his socks. Or making Sally laugh how he seems to get more food on the floor when he cooks then he does in the actual meals he has made them.
Together you are the perfect life companion and are blessed to have each other. Never stop loving each others smart, loving and caring, raw selfness. Look forward to creating a beautiful family home with Tanna and maybe 1 or 2 more little munchkins running around. Travelling with your kids experiencing life to its fullest. Laugh a lot, go on adventures and never let go of the great love you share.
