Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Roberts who tied the knot on Saturday 17th April 2021 at Lovers Rock Park, one of Tweed Coast Weddings hidden ceremony gems.

Inside Matt and Emma love story 💕The University Sweethearts 💕

Matt and Emma had seen each around QUT campus a few times, whether it was in lectures, tutorials or generally around J Block. In 2010, after talking for hours on end, Matt realised this attractive girl was genuinely interested in talking to him and she seemed to be laughing at all his jokes! Something very rare and something Matt was not used to.

Matt soon fell in love with how Emma treated life like it was one big musical. Things always seemed happy and alive around Emma, she was constantly upbeat and singing the day away. Although Emma never picked up on Matt's sarcasm, it would constantly fly right over her head, which made him laugh. He had met someone who was so easy to talk to and that made everyone’s life better by being part of it.

Emma fell for Matt's ability to put others at ease, and light up any room with laughter and happiness. Matt's goal in life is to make other people laugh and he is a real stand up comedian. She even fell for the effort he puts into the little things; like learning to cook, though he would serve some very odd dishes at times.

Both your lives have been given a higher meaning and defined your purpose, to be with each other to achieve something greater. All your successes are now so much sweeter and your downfalls are so much easier to overcome knowing that you have each other by your side.
