On Saturday 22nd August 2020 I had the pleasure of marrying Robert and Alannah at Parkwood Village Weddings. Robert and Alannah are two peas in a pod. Always sharing inside jokes and funny banter. Always supporting each other and achieving every goal together. Always making each other a better person in every facet of life. Together they are one union that can achieve more than they could alone.
Now how did their love story begin?
On their first date Robert in his pink lady shirt noticed how shy Alannah was so he thought; I am going to break the ice by striking a conversation and never stop talking. Lets say it worked as Alannah fell for Robert’s hilarious dad jokes. Alannah found how Robert acts like an old man but also very immature quite enlighting. Alannah fell in love with how Robert doesn’t take life too seriously and always likes to have a good laugh.
Robert fell in love with Alannah’s big heart. He loves how Alannah asks for his opinion even though majority of the time he does not like his answer. From the moment they bought their first home together Robert knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Alannah.
To The Proposal!
Robert has always been obsessed with trying to surprise Alannah even though she was dropping hints left, right and center of proposal places/occasions. But Robert did end up surprising Alannah. In 2019, Alannah surprised Robert with a birthday dinner and when she asked him if he was enjoying his birthday he responded “this is really nice but I can think of a better birthday present, where you say yes to being my wife. Will you marry me?”. What the perfect proposal!
Together you are the perfect life companion and are blessed to have each other. Never stop loving each others smart, loving and caring, raw selfness. Look forward to creating a beautiful family home with little munchkins running around. Travelling with your kids experiencing life to its fullest.
It was my pleasure on the 22nd August to marry two best friend and soul mates. Thank you for choosing me and allowing me to be a part of your special day.
Love your marriage celebrant Jessica
