Forever Yours Weddings Re-Brand

After over 8 year of trading I decided to re-brand, illustrating my values and beliefs as a registered marriage celebrant.

Forever Yours Weddings, symbols everlasting love. Thus the re-brand symbol is ‘infinity’ a sideways figure of eight, symbolizing its more modern interpretation of eternity and everlasting love. The infinity also draws from its ancient understanding as the symbol of perfection, duality and empowerment between male and female. Just like Yin and Yang, two opposing individuals that together become one. The word comes from the Latin infinitas or “unboundedness”.

Limitless, eternal and becoming as one, there is no better symbol to represent eternal love. And it’s not just about eternal love but also the infinite and limitless possibilities that love brings.

In classical mythology, Cupid (Latin Cupīdō [kʊˈpiː.doː], meaning “desire”) is the god of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection. He is often portrayed as the son of the love goddess Venus and the war god Mars. He is also known in Latin as Amor (“Love”).

Like the true hopeless romantic I am I believe in the Cupid arrow. There is someone made for everyone on this universe and when you have met your true love, I believe you have been struck by cupid’s arrow, driving an uncontrollable desire that forms everlasting love.

Today, Cupid and his arrows have become the most popular of love signs, and love is most frequently depicted by two hearts pierced by an arrow, Cupid’s arrow.
