Richard and Connor Gosling | The Acre Boomerang Farm

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Gosling who after COVID-19 derailed their original plan of having their wedding at Osteria on 2nd October 2020 they finally tie the knot at The Acre Boomerang Farm on Friday 22nd October 2021. They say everything happens for a reason so we will go with that, as in between being derailed they had a beautiful daughter Elkie, who was able to join mummy and daddy on their special day. Every moment on this day was simply magical and I got to tell the love story of the most beautiful couple and their journey to this day. I have to say I have the best job in the world hands down.

It all started when this boy named Richard one day went into work at Civic Video and told his work colleague Amy about this cute girl he had spotted around the corner at red rooster. Much to his surprise this was Amy’s cousin, Connor, which she bluntly told him to stay away from. Like any boy he didn’t listen and lucky he didn’t as Connor thought he was just as cute with his long side swept fringe. A few years later in 2013 Civic Video boy officially started dating that cute red rooster chick.

Fast forward a couple of months, on their first holiday to Sydney after a super fancy dinner out where they accidentally ordered the most expensive bottle of water they were strolling along the harbour when they stopped to look at the night lights and Connor jumped to the punch and told Richard she was in love with him. Richard felt completely highjacked as he had this big grand plan to tell Connor he loved her but as us girls know we don't waste much time when we know what we want and how we feel.

From Richard's bad dad jokes to Connor’s mispronunciation of words, you two are two peas in a pod. I loved getting to know you, your dog Percy and baby girl Elkie; who is simply divine I could cuddle her all day long.. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day and sharing your story and of course last but not least officiating you as husband and wife. I love the Gosling Fambam ❤️
