Matthew & Vanessa Heke’s Wedding at Broadbeach
Matthew & Vanessa travelled all the way from New Zealand a few days before their special wedding day on the Gold Coast beaches on Friday 18th May 2012. Vanessa & Matthew decided to tie the knot on the sunny Gold Coast due to family members being unable to fly to NZ for their small wedding Gold Coast. The wedding party consisted of 30 of their closest family & friends. How we love small weddings, I have the pleasure to get to know everyone & feel so wonderful.

The beach wedding was at Kurrawa Beach on Broadbeach strip. It was styled a beach theme with bamboo teepees & orchids, white americana chairs with purple sashes & bamboo aisle runner. At the entrance of the aisle we had bali flags to mark the beautiful bridal entrance.

Fatherly Love
For the wedding flowers, Vanessa chose a mixture of orchids, in a mix of white, purple, green & orange. Vanessa has a gorgeous large wedding bouquet made of silk orchids. And the stunning bridesmaids dressed in red has a small version of the brightly coloured wedding flowers. Matthew & the groomsmen had bright coloured orchid buttonholes to compliment their tan suits. The father of the bride has a orchid buttonhole to match & the mothers were complimented by wrist corsages.

It was a gorgeous intimate small wedding ceremony between two best friends & their son & daughter. Touching words were shared including ‘Matthew Vows’ You are where my heart is, and the reason that I believe in love. I promise to be there when you need me, to fill your days with sunshine, to comfort you, encourage you and to love you with all my heart – today, tomorrow, always. ‘Vanessa’s Promise’ Take this ring, and with it my promise of faith, patience, and love, for the rest of my life.
